OUR VISON/MISSION
Fishers of Men is a family evangelistic ministry dedicated to taking the gospel of Jesus Christ to people outside the walls of our churches. We are made up of men, women, and children of all ages that come from several local churches who have a passion to serve Jesus Christ to those who are hurting, broken, and in need. We act as the hands and feet of Jesus Christ. We minister to the spiritual, emotional, and physical needs of those who attend our outreaches. The reason we exist is to help all people realize that God loves them unconditionally and that God sent his son Jesus to die for their sins. In everything we do, we will give God ALL the praise and glory. We will dedicate our time, talents, and resources to minister to the needs of others. We seek to follow Jesus and he will make us FISHERS OF MEN.
We will preach the gospel of Jesus Christ without reservation to all those who attend our outreaches, while acknowledging that it is not by our strengths or talents that we can do this, it is by the Lord Jesus Christ. We believe in the power of the Holy Spirit to lay hands on the sick and to see them recover. We pray in the authority of Jesus Christ name to cast out devils and see the captives free. We believe that the blood of Jesus Christ will break every chain of bondage and addiction and that Jesus will restore broken lives.
Fishers Of Men exists to to Preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ to all people who are present at our planned Outreaches; always offering an invitation to anyone who chooses to receive Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. We do this in accordance with Matthew 28:Â 18-20. We choose to be the Hands and Feet of Jesus, serving the poor and needy, and the hurting in our local parks and streets, veterans centers, senior and retirement homes, our local projects, and anywhere the Holy Spirit leads us to. We do this by serving a hot meal, offering clothing and accessories, talking and ministering, listening, and praying for those who are in need. We recognize that our service to God is according to His Word and His Plan ; Isaiah 61; 21-7, Mt. 25; 34-40, Rom 14:18, and Gal. 4:13
